This distribution contains the same driver core of Amigamerlin 3.1 R1 lite version but include 3dfx Tools and the MesaFx package previously distributed with Amigamerlin 3.1. This set is based on the SFFT D3D Core and contain new unrelease dll like new Glide3x, Official MesaFx 6.2.0.2 and MesaFx 6.2.0.1 for DOOM3. These drivers incorporate an utility to set the drivers as a DX7 or a DX8 driver and have the TAA that can be enabled via 3DFX Tools - Opengl Glide Section. To have this driver correctly installed : - You must install it via the Control Panel. - Reboot the PC - Install then the 3dfx Tools (if you don't have them already installed) - Again reboot the PC - Launch Set DX Compatibilities - (Dx8 recommended). - Reboot the PC again - Setup the 3dfx Tools like best preferred. ATTENTION !! If you have correctly executed the procedure, the installation does generate NO error !!. A whichever error during the installation of the Tools is the sign of one NOT CORRECT installation. You can, if you want, also upgrade the driver without removing those already installed but you will have to always install them from the control panel. Source : AmigaMerlin - http://www.3dfxzone.it
