GENERAL ======= - Drivers now support Cyrix CPUs. - Property sheet is common for Windows 9x and Windows NT. - Property sheet now reports correct BIOS version. - Direct3D property sheet test now runs at resolution, color depth, and refresh rate of the desktop. It now always runs full screen. - Glide property sheet test now runs at resolution and refresh rate of the desktop. - Uninstall now removes all registry, AUTOEXEC.BAT, and WIN.INI entries associated with Raven. DISPLAY/DIRECTDRAW/DIRECT3D =========================== - Version updated to 4.10.01.0246-022C . - Derived from 3Dfx version 4.10.01.0234-1.00 . - AGP and PCI drivers now have different names, allowing multi- monitor use of both boards in a machine (under Windows 98). - Removed 800x600x4 display setting. - Software DVD players which use DirectShow under Windows 98 that require Macrovision license now operate correctly. GLIDE ===== - Glide2x and Glide3x drivers are unchanged. OTHER ===== - Online help - Version updated to Revision 4. - MiniGL 1.46 Installer is now included in the release. It is installed in \Program Files\Q3D\Raven\WINNT. --------------------------------------------------------------------- The following is a description of the changes/modifications/fixes made from Release 1.1 to Release 1.2 for Windows 95 OSR 2.1 and Windows 98. GENERAL ======= - Removed 3Dfx OpenGL Game Setup program (OGLINST.EXE) and 3DFXGL.DLL to the release. 3DFXGL.DLL is no longer copied to \WINDOWS\SYSTEM. - 3Dfx OpenGL Game Setup program is no longer launched once after driver installation is complete and computer has been restarted. - Refresh Rate button has been removed from Raven properties sheet for Glide and Direct3D. Refresh rates configured from the Adapter tab in the Display Properties dialog now applies to Desktop, Glide and Direct3D applications. The WIN95 and WIN98 subdirectories contain all necessary files for installation. - Online help - Version updated to Revision 2. - Fixed property sheet to launch help file when Help button is clicked. - Corrected "Quantum3D" spelling in QLOGOD3D.EXE window title. - Files are now copied to "\Program Files\Q3D\Raven\WIN9X" during installation. - RAVEN.INF is no longer copied to \WINDOWS\INF directory.
